The Importance of Support in Living with Diabetes
Living with Diabetes is an ongoing struggle in my life. There are good and bad days when I feel as though I could take on the world and then times when I come crashing back down.
Although modern treatment is largely available, the going is not always easy. Diabetes is a disease that not only impacts on physical health, but also emotional, social and career related aspects.
After talking to a practitioner, I was advised to visit Ezee Diabetes providing support for those living with Type I and Type II Diabetes in South Africa. During that time I had also not made much progress on Adult Friend Canada in my search for a specific relationship to fulfill my needs and desires.
nAfter feeling sorry for myself for too long I joined the support group and was provided with information, able to share my difficulties with others going through similar experiences. My mood began to lift and I found new hope and meaning in life because I was truly not alone in struggling with Diabetes. Once I was able to lift my spirits with my new found support group, I could move forward finding a partner on Adult Friend Canada and finally my life would be whole again.
